About this Cook
I've been married 8 years . I have two children (boys). We work alot and quick and healthy eating is important to us.
My favorite things to cook
Of course pasta is on the menu a couple times a week. Seafood ,chicken and different ways to cook things that we all eat.
My favorite family cooking traditions
X-mas dinner on Christmas eve with the 12 fish meal. Alot of work but sooo worth it.
My cooking triumphs
i've learned to cook things that my picky husband really enjoys . Being born in Sicily spoiled him and i'm trying to learn as much as i can from his mother. She's truly a great cook all self taught so I hope to come close some day.
My cooking tragedies
Too many to count.

Arangini (Italian Rice Balls)
Like Nonna's except no saffron in the rice which gives it a different flavor and definately with rissotto rather than reg white or long grain rice.

Simple Country Ribs
Would definately do this way again. I've always boiled ribs before cooking why i never thought to add to the water! I added 1/2 water and 1/2 rib/chicken sauce to the pot. Don't know if it changed the way they came out. But my husband definately enjoyed them.
