Chipotle Chicken

Made it exactly as the recipe said and it was delicious! I made it for my family and they said it should be renamed Chipotle Chicken with Spinach Cream Sauce because it tasted like something you would order in a nice restaurant in New Mexico. Next time I will add some corn to the sauce for additional texture. Delicious!

Garlic Dill New Potatoes

Made exactly as recipe says. Definitely needs more dill if you're using fresh and I cooked the potatoes about 15 minutes. If you don't like really strong garlic taste, I would reccommend sauteing the garlic before mixing everything together. Other than that, very tasty and will make again

Bananas Foster II

Delicious! A little too runny and saucy for my taste, though. I may not have let it thicken enough before putting bananas in though, so could be my fault. the vanilla and cinnamon gave it a little something extra that I haven't tried with bananas foster before. Very good! Oh, I used coconut rum instead of regular and it tasted really good :)

Chicken Breasts with Lime Sauce

SOOOOO tender. I added some of the lime juice to the egg mixture so it could get some more lime flavor. Delicious. I served it with edamame and yams.

Chicken Piccata with Artichoke Hearts

Very easy to make and tasted delicious! The artichoke added an interesting taste that complemented well, yet still leaves the standard piccata taste. Made it for roommate dinner and the girls all loved it. Didn't change a thing in the recipe and it was perfect. Served with pasta

Kicky Steak Strips with Rice

This wasn't spicy at all which was confusing to me considering how many reviews stated how spicy it was. I accidentally overcooked the steak a little, but the marinade tasted really good. Will use again when I need a quick, easy recipe. Served with garlic mashed potatoes

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake

My fiance, who, until this point, has never liked cheesecake that wasn't from the Cheesecake Factory loved this. I was really nervous to be giving it to him, but I'm so glad I did. It pretty much melts in your mouth. I followed the recipe pretty much exactly )used graham cracker crust instead) and I really don't think it needs any changes. This was also my first time making my own crust and it was a bit crumbly, but that was probably my doing, not anything wrong with the recipe. Very tasty.

Brown Sugar Smokies

Very messy clean up after. I would recommend putting aluminum foil lining down on the pan first. I also used turkey bacon to lighten up the fat content a bit. Not the greatest, but pretty tasty

Bourbon-Mango Pulled Pork

This was incredible! When I went to the grocery store to get the pork, they didn't have enough left of what I needed so I had to scale down the recipe a bit, but it turned out great. My one suggestion is to make this during mango season. In the middle of winter, mangoes aren't the best, but even with that, the recipe turned out great. I can't wait to try this again in summer!

Cranberry Sauce I

Have made this twice now. First time, made it according to recipe and had a ton of extra liquid even after refrigerating overnight. I had to pour out probably over a cup. The second time, used half white sugar, and half brown sugar like some suggested, cut oj down to 1/3 cup. The sugar draws out the juices when the cranberries are boiling anyway so you don't need to add much liquid. I also added chopped orange rind, and apple hunks. To add some extra tartness, use granny smith, but fuji works too

Margarita Grilled Shrimp

For some reason, the shrimp didn't soak up as much of the flavor as I was hoping it would. I overcooked it on accident (oops) so that may be part of it too, but the sauce was incredible and tasted really good over the rice

Strawberry Cheesecake Quesadillas

Followed the suggestion of not spreading to the edge and it worked perfectly. I used left over cranberry relish from Thanksgiving (cranberries, oranges, apples)and it was delicious. Not at all messy during cooking, but when it came time to eat, it made a bit of a mess. Totally worth it though!

Black Bottom Cupcakes I

Made this exactly how recipe said and they turned out great. However, next time, I'm going to follow the advice of someone else and fill half way with chocolate, then dollop of cream cheese and more chocolate on top. Then the cream cheese doesn't dry out at all on top and it's kind of a surprise in the middle. Very tasty!

Quick and Easy Monkey Bread

So easy and delicious! I made it for my roommates and all of it was gone within 15 minutes. I cut each biscuit into 4 little triangles and dipped each in the butter, then the sugar before placing it in the pan.

Chicken Pasta - Shannon Style

Delicious! Next time though, I'll add more peppers, onion, and mushrooms, since when they saute they get so much smaller. Took about 20 min longer to make than the recipe states, and that was with help cutting and cooking chicken, so plan accordingly.

Cake Balls

Though I could feel the cream cheese frosting coating my arteries as it went down, it was totally worth it. Only thing I did differently from the recipe was freeze cake balls for about 2 hours before rolling them in the melted chocolate. Used my fingers to roll and it worked fine, but needed more chocolate than the recipe said. Delicious!
