This fish was not good - we did not eat it. Nobody in my family could even stand the smell. I just can"t beleive this recipe got so many good reviews. I followed the recipe to the "T". Sorry, but this was not to our taste!!!

Susan, this was absolutely the best recipe for cacciatore that I've ever had. MY FAMILY LOVED IT!!!! And now, I'm their hero when it comes to chicken. I tried your recipe just as posted. I usually change a few things or add something here or there, but this recipe looked good like it was and I'm soooo glad I didnn't alter it. I'm a male "chef-wanna-be", and this recipe will go with me where ever I go! Thanks again, Susan.

All I can say is "Oh My God!!" This is absolutely outstanding. I changed only one thing, because I didn't have fresh thyme leaves, I used a 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme and it came out wonderful. I'm a man and I love cooking for my wife and 5 kids. Everyone raved about this. Thanks for a very different, but creative recipe!! Will make this a weekly steak dish.
