Chicken Breasts Pierre

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2009
This was delicious. I followed directions for the most part. The only changes I made was that I added 2 large fresh tomatoes and this made a HUGE difference in taste. I also added regular balsamic vinegar along with some white vinegar. I added some cayenne pepper and green onions too. IT came out very rich , and very tomatoey which I loved! Definitely a keeper and very easy to make!

Angel Hair with Feta and Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
Delicious! I used spaghetti instead and parsley instead of the cilantro for a more mild and fresh taste. I also used less parmesan (1/2 cup) so it wouldnt be too cheesy or salty. I added a couple mushrooms and alot of garlic. I also used sun dried tomatoes in a jar with oil in them already. Will definitely make this again, super easy and very tasty.

Simple Swiss Chard

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2009
Very quick and easy. I added 1 tbsp of balsamic vinegar and it was just right. I also added 2 big cloves of garlic, and a pinch of sugar. It was delicious just dont overcook it or it ends up mushy, about 7 mins was good.

Plum Jam Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2008
I followed the recipe exactly except I added a tbsp of Vanilla extract to the mixture. These were delicious and soft! I used plum butter, and raspberry jam then sprinkled with white sugar on top. These take some time to make, and the dough does not need to be refrigerated. Will definitely make them again when I have about 1.5-2 hours to spare! :)

Raspberry Buttermilk Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
Add AN EXTRA EGG.I used whole wheat flour 1/5 cups, and 1/2 cup cornmeal. Don't forget to THAW raspberries before using and drain excess liquids. I used 1/2 blueberries 1/2 raspberries (equaling 1 cup) better tasting than just the raspberries alone. I also added 1 tbsp vanilla to wet mixture and some extra brown sugar sprinkled on top before putting in oven. light and delicious, not very sweet, if you like something more sweet def add more sugar to the dry mix!

I used: 10 fresh peaches boiled and peeled, with 1/4 cup of their natural juices I added cinnamon and vanilla to the batter as well as 1/2 cup white and 1/2 cup brown sugar. I spriknled cinnamon and brown sugar on top. Baked at 400C for 40 mins was delicious, especially with ice cream, on its own it was good but a little bland. Perfect with ice cream thou!

This was great but only because I added the following: 1 tbsp mayonnaise ( was just enough) 1/3 cup Green onions 2 tbsp Honey mustard 4 pickles chopped up 4 eggs chopped up 2 celery chopped up 2 tbsp paprika Delish! I also used 8 small red potatoes and left the skin on and cut into chunks, it was much easier and faster this way and looked great too!.

Zucchini Alfredo

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2008
I added 6 cloves of garlic and 1 big onion and sauteed , and an onion chive flavoured cream cheese rather than plain. I also added more parmesan cheese. It was very tasty due to the loads of garlic and cheese. Still at the same time wasnt a very heavy dish, I used 1/2 cup 2% milk and 1 big table spoon onion chive cream cheese and about 1/2 cup parmesan. Will make it again but will add red peppers and mushrooms next time :)

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
I didnt like tilapia much before until I tried this recipe! what makes it so tasty is when you broil it with the parmesan on top, it adds a crispy texture and tastes great! I added lots of garlic, sea salt and pepper and extra virgin olive oil. will def make this again, its super easy and healthy (since its baked not fried) *****!
