This was not a keeper for me, even after following some of the tips of other reviewers. I did not use Hersey Cocoa so that may be the factor. It wasnt sweet enough or chocolaty enough. I will keep looking.

Roasted Chicken Noodle Soup

Thought this was delish. I made it with leftover meat from some smoked cornish game hens. I followed the insturctions exactly except left out the onion (Hubby doesnt like it) and added frozen peas at the end. We felt like it need more veggies, esp carrots (and that was after I almost doubled them) and that the meat really helped the dish. I will probably make it with left over rotiserie chicken as regular chicken breast wont have enough flavor.

Banana Chocolate Chip Dessert

I followed most of the suggestions of tgparks to make them healthier. My kids loved them but hubby and friends were underwhelmed. I think the applesauce made them have a spoungey texture. Next time, I will follow the recipe exactly and see what I think.

Cabbage Roll Casserole

Clone of a Cinnabon

This recipe is truly incredible. It does take a while for the rising and the rolling out, but the effort is definitely worth it. Just be warned that when they come out of the oven they are VERY hot. The center of the rolls stays hot a lot longer than the outside. My husband has burnt his tongue several times since he's so eager to get at them.

Baked Potato Soup I

Very rich and tasty. A good solution to all those left over baked potatoes. I thought it used way too much bacon though. I'd probably half the amount when I do it again.

Pasta Primavera Sauce

Excellent. We always serve this to guests, especially vegetarians. We find that it's best to add the broccoli in the last 15-20 minutes of cooking so it isn't overdone. We have made it with tomato sauce instead of tomato paste and it works well, although it is a bit runnier.

Grandma VanDoren's White Bread

Absolutely incredible! We make this in the bread machine with the dough setting and it disappears within an hour out of pulling it out of the oven. We generally only make a third of the recipe so it fits in the bread machine.

Black Bean and Salsa Soup

Really quick and really good. Not substantial enough to make a meal by itself, but it goes very well with quesadillas. It might not look too appealing, but a dab of sour cream really helps it out. We also like to increase the number of black beans we put directly into the soup.

Baked Dijon Salmon

Both my husband and myself absolutely love this recipe. We have found that it works best if you skin the salmon and then coat all sides of it, it augments the flavor all around. Also, the honey-mustard-butter coating makes A LOT. You can generally halve it without too much trouble.

Easy Red Velvet Cake

This was my first Red Velvet cake so perhaps I am not the best judge. The recipie was easy but the taste was not outstanding. My husband, who loves cake, was not thrilled by this either. I'll keep looking.
