The cookies are tasty but very moist. Moist to a fault. The combination of spices are nice, Christmas like. ( I didn't add raisins). It was difficult to taste the applesauce because of the strong spices.

I used cashews on green beens and it was fantastic. So don't feel that you have to make such an array of vegetables to make this recipe work for you.

These muffins are amazing. I used fresh pumpkin not canned. They are so moist. They aren't too sweet even with the butterscotch chips. The spice combination works beautifully. If you make regular sized muffins, as I did, remember to bake them twice as long. The recipe made 16 regular muffins. I highly recommend these.
