Jalapeno Snacks
Absolutely DELISH. Since my husband and I can't really do super spicy things, I soaked the sliced and deseeded peppers in a bowl of ice water for a few hours to take out some of the heat. I added a dash of basil to the mixture and it gave it a bit more flavor. Once I take them off the pan I place them between paper towels to soak up some of the excess grease from the bacon. These are a must-have at all of my potlucks at work, and my husband's platoon gatherings once a month. They're usually the first food to vanish!

Barbie's Tuna Salad
I absolutely LOVED the sound of the ingredients in this recipe all thrown together, but I had to make a few modifications to it considering I didn't have everything it asked for. First, instead of 6 tablespoons of mayo I used 5 tablespoons and 1 tablespoon of ranch dressing. Second, I added a little bit more dried onion than called for, but not much more. Third, I didn't have curry powder or dill weed, so I added the parsley and then garlic salt instead of garlic powder. It was SO GOOD. I will definitely keep this one in my trusty recipe box.
