Cherry Pie III

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2009
Great!! Not too much juice.. and when I cut it, hardly anything ran out. I waited a few hours to make sure it was really cooled. I used frozen cherries..fresh were not available, but it still turned out tasty. I also used a 1/2 cup of brown sugar and reduced the white sugar by that much. Loved that suggestion! Try it, you won't be disappointed. So easy too!

Fluffy Whole Wheat Biscuits

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
I have to say first that I have been making biscuits for just a short time now, but everytime I make a different recipe, they come out like rocks. Flat rocks. I have tried them all. Tonight, I tried this one. I will never try another one ever again. These biscuits came out fluffy, soft, and tasty. I can't believe I finally did it. They are so easy too!!! Love them.

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2008
This fudge had a great consistency, and a great taste. I didn't have a candy thermometer, and I only boiled it for a minute or two. It did not affect the outcome. Next time i would use more semi sweet chips, just as a personal preference. But it was definitely easy. It actually had a better taste the next day. I would recommend this recipe.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2008
Before I made these.. I read all the reviews...well, most of them. I thought" could that really be that good?" I made them last night. YES! They really are THAT good!!! I can not believe how great they are. Better that what you get in the store without all the chemicals and preservatives they use for commercial production. I didn't have a bread machine, so I made them by hand. Dissolved the yeast in the milk first. The trick about preheating the oven to 200 degrees then turning off, really worked well. Great idea! They definitely are better than cinnabon's. I made my own frosting with cream cheese( always make my own anyway, I have a peanut allergy son.)So I can't vouch for the icing in the recipe, but I did bake them for 20 minutes at 375. Perfect. Also, if you don't turn them over to let the sugar run down, you will get this great base of sugar on the bottom of the roll. Yum!!!! (if you like that sort of thing!) If you are hesitant at all about this recipe...forget it...this really is the BEST one out there!!

Italian Dressing Mix

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2008
I am a fan of the packaged salad dressing, in fact it is the only dressing my 13 yr. old will eat....he is very picky! I made this dressing because I was out of the other and my son said this was better than the packaged and I should make this all the time. So, i would highly recommend this recipe. I also cut down the salt to 1tsp. and used celery seed instead of celery salt. It made a difference. Very good! You will not be disappointed.
