Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

This was amazing. When I put it on the cutting board the bottom half seperated from the top and I just pulled the dark meat off the bones. The white meat rivaled my smoked white meat which is hard to do. Old family recipe. Will never cook a turkey any other way. Kuddos

G's Flank Steak Marinade

This is a great marinade. I add about 1/4- 1/2 C. orange juice. I also cook under the broiler for about 4-5 min per side then wrap in foil for 10 min. for meat to soak all juices back in.

Pollo Mediterranean

I do not usually rate recipes a 5. I would do this exactly like it is.....i had some chopped fresh tomato's in my fridge and added them at the end before removing the chicken. Also stir your cornstarch. I always make my cornstach thicker and add a little at a time. Cooking the sauce a little longer made it very nice. Will definately make again.

Drip Beef Sandwiches

Good recipe for a chuck roast. I used my castiron pot w/ a 3 lb. roast. I seasoned and seered it on all sides and cooked on low w/ juices to cover for about 5 hours on low. Shreaded and returned to pot on off for about an hour. Served on french rolls w/ carmelized onion and mushrooms. Swiss cheese melted on top.

Fabulous Wet Burritos

These are very good. I poured some sauce in the bottom of a 13x9 pan and placed baritos in then topped w/ sauce and cheese. I only had green enchilada sauce but it did not seem to matter. Very filling!

This was a good recipe but I wated to right before serving to add the shrimp as it would have made it too fishy. I also used leftover chicken. I liked the fact that it was like a stew. We did not add cooked rice at the end because my hubbie is on the Atkins diet but it would have been a great addition.

Warm Apple Buttermilk Custard Pie

We love this and will make again. We did cut down on the white sugar a bit like other reviewers said. We did not have buttermilk so we used milk w/ vinegar. The custard comes way up while cooking so a deep dish pie dish is a must.

Pico De Gallo

Good recipe. I used sweet and red onion and also added 1/4 of a green pepper. It adds color and crunch. I also like other reviewers used lime juice garlic salt, garlic and lots of chopped cilantro. I am glad I made it in my colander as it let the ingredients drain.

Creamy Potato Pork Chop Bake

Great way to use left-over pork loin. I cubed the pork and had some left-over hashbrowns but not enough so I heated a can of diced potatoes w/ Lawerys. I also added about 3 T. green chilis to the top before the cheese. It added great flavor. Also added just a touch of seasoned bread crumbs to the top. Let sit for a few min. before serving.

Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce

This was fantastic. I used whipping cream and a tad of cream cheese. Fantastic. I could have used it as a dip but used it over sliced grilled chicken. The kids said "yeck" when they saw it but "oh my gosh" when they tasted it. Needless to say there were no leftovers and my oldest made a burrito. Will use again and again.

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Put pieces of cooked bacon in the mushroom and also added some leftover sauted mushrooms and a tad of chicken. Everyone luvvved them. Very rich though. I had large mushrooms but will use smaller ones in the future for bite size.
