About this Cook
Stay at home mommy and wife of 18 years.
My favorite things to cook
Love desert! I like to cook homestyle food. Soup, bread, cake, pie, and anything that sounds like home. Some day I hope to perfect a snoot!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Growing up we had KFC every year for Christmas so when I got married I was determind to learn to cook. I'm a slow learner but I try real hard.
My cooking triumphs
For years I have bought canned soup, pancake mix, and pie crust. I have finally stopped buying them and started making them. What a money saver!
My cooking tragedies
So far so good. No fires or food poisonings. I think I'm doing pretty good!

Old-Fashioned Chocolate Fudge
Terrific recipe!! Turned out perfect. Never use teflon nonstick pans for making fudge and make sure to allow it to cool before beating. Thanks for the great recipe!

Chewy Chocolate Chip Granola Bars
These turned out great. I didn't have any problem with them falling apart. I did add a 1/4 cup more of peanut butter and pressed them very well into the pan. This may have helped them hold together. Thanks for sharing a great recipe.
