About this Cook
born in'53 of a strong polish american family. combine that with the strong german and italian influences in the greater milwaukee area and you get a sence of my culinary beginings. also love making sauces, brines and marinades. will stack my grilling skills against anyone.

My favorite family cooking traditions
big sunday family meals(cook outs when the weather cooperates). as with most people of a certain generation the sunday meal provided meal choices for the rest of the week.
My cooking triumphs
when ever i pull off a meal for 4 or more. not just any meal. a well planned and thought out one. i love being i charge of a kitchen.i work best by myself because so few people really know how to cook.( a good souse chef is hard to find) :))
My cooking tragedies
this is easy. however i'll add a caveat. we cooks get to eat or mistakes most of the time . there've been quite a few bt, there is really only one first place disaster. the first time i made lobster thermidore. omg i had mashed lobster. you who know out there know what i did wrong.
