About this Cook
Mother of 6, grandmother of 10,(and counting). Taught to cook by my grandmother by just observing. She always said that I would have plenty of time to be in the kitchen, and she was right. I'm not passionate about cooking, but I enjoy it very much. I think when you get to be my age (50ish) it is a comfort.

Slow Cooker Lime Chicken with Rice
Although I did add garlic and onion powder and salt, this was wonderful. I had a ton of leftover cooked bowtie noodles and threw those in for a bit just to warm them up. I too used frozen chicken breasts. I was lucky to get some for myself!

Beer Roasted Lime Chicken
I have been making "buzzed bird" for years, but this is the best. I didn't have limes, so I used lemons. My son suggested next time (you bet there will be!) to use both. Since I used lemons, I seasoned with lemon pepper. I guess that makes it Beer Roasted Lemon Chicken huh. At any rate, this is chicken!
