I come from a long line of very good cooks who taught me all of the basics of baking and cooking. I have since ventured out and love the challenge of a new difficult ethnic recipe.

Mac and Cheese/Oven Fried Chicken/Bisquits and gravey/waffles/General Tso's chicken/Beef Tenderloin/BBQ Salmon
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking Bread and rolls for a family Thanksgiving dinner. We would have all the traditional country food for the meal. My mother, grandmother's and my sisters and I would all cook together.
My cooking triumphs
Making perfect Beef Tenderloin for eight friends. Making the best Baby Back Ribs that my friend said they were the beste he had ever eaten. Also, chicken and dumplings were the best ever.
My cooking tragedies
When I was a small girl I made a cake for my dad's birtyday and used pancake flour rather than regular flour. Needless to say I have never made that mistake again.
