Hi. I'm from South Louisiana. I've been married sinced April 2004 but just started cooking in June-July 2007 because I started a new job and actually have time to cook. I love to try new things. I'm starting to get a little better with not needing a recipe but mostly I have to use a recipe to cook.
My favorite things to cook
I love spaghetti & meatballs. I really love anything with pasta.

Shrimp Tetrazzini
Very good. I was scared to add all the mushrooms because it looked like so many,I just started acquiring the taste of mushrooms, didn't want to overdo the mushrooms but I gave in and oh was I happy I did. This recipe is great. My husband liked it and so did I. I'll make this again.

Angel Hair Pasta with Lemon and Chicken
Loved it! This recipe was so good, we even ate all the leftovers the days following.

Shrimp Lemon Pepper Linguini
Very good recipe. I added a little more 'juices' to make more sauce and since I'm from South Louisiana I added a little Toni Chachere's Seasoning for a little extra taste. I also substituted the fresh parsley and basil for the pre-jarred kind and it worked very well also. The next time I believe I will use 2 pounds of shrimp because my husband and myself love shrimp but it was very good recipe. We really enjoyed it.
