My favorite things to cook
I love cooking most things, I really enjoy baked goods, and am getting into breads. My strengths however are in suppers.
My favorite family cooking traditions
French Canadian and English, though I myself rarely cook in that style.
My cooking triumphs
Making delicious things when resources (University student doesn't pay well) are tight. Chicken Alfredo can be done on less than a couple dollars if you're careful.
My cooking tragedies
A ridiculously expensive dish that called for mascarpone, ground almonds, new ramekins, marsala wine (which I have yet to find a use for the rest of) recommended in a magazine that was less tasty than many simpler things I've made.
