Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Following the directions of the user who said to add vanilla, baking powder, and salt, I also added chocolate pudding instead of vanilla. The result was a soft, flavorful cookie with virtually no crumbs. It's a nice change from the regular toll house-type cookie recipe.

Marzetti® Italian Penne Pasta Salad

Great pasta salad! I needed a side dish, so I left off the chicken. It was wonderful and made a huge bowl. Tomorrow I'll add grilled chicken and have it for lunch. The family loved it as well.

Orzo with Parmesan and Basil

Somewhat sticky and not a lot of flavor. I think I'll stick with a cream sauce on my orzo.

Turkey in a Smoker

I used a bone-in turkey breast that weighed approximately 10 pounds. I used the spices listed but placed them inside the skin of the turkey. I added 1 tbsp. of white pepper as well. I placed the apple and onion on the center part of the cavity. I did not pour on the coke as I didn't want to clean the mess out of my smoker. I smoked the bird for 2.5 hours and then removed it to a roasting pan. I poured on the coke, covered, and baked the bird for an additional 2.5 hours (internal temperature 170 degrees). The turkey was very tasty. I doubt it could have been much better had I smoked it instead of baking it.

Carrot Cake III

Fabulous, moist, flavorful cake. Grating carrots is a big, fat, pain...but the payoff is really great.

My daughter fixed this recipe and I wasn't watching her...mixing all the ingredients instead of boiling the syrups. The bottom and ends burned, but what didn't burn tasted fabulous.

Jamaican Jerk Chicken

This is possibly the best recipe I've ever found on allrecipes. I make it with the barbequed pineapple recipe and the calypso beans and rice recipe both found on this site. Don't overcook the meat--and the longer you marinate, the better it is!

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

This recipe was a hit at our Christmas party--not too sweet, and just the right consistency. It would be nice to have graham crackers shaped like something other than teddy bears and squares to go with it!
