About this Cook
Yes, well I am a cook that is cooking more and more often... probably because I'm 15!! Still learning but I love cooking... I don't understand why my mom does't like cooking! It's so fun making new dishes...
My favorite things to cook
I like soups because you pretty much put everything in a pot let it bubble and simmer and you sit back and smell your own delicious soup. I also like cooking stuff in one skillet... i absolutely love all the flavors added.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom makes the most divine Chicken 'n' Noodles... it's not a soup though. Absolutely delicious!! And it was passed down from her Grandmother who did it the hard way... cooking the chicken to get the stock and chicken! But now my mom uses good ole Swanson broth and Mix 'n' Chicken. My aunt (and mom) makes the most delicious lasagna... quite good. I really like it because we don't make it that often (we had for Christmas dinner last year!) so it's not a worn out taste.
My cooking triumphs
My Tomato Orzo Soup, Banana Cream Pie and most of all... my Zucchini Bread! My dad and brother fight over the bread at the table!
My cooking tragedies
I can't quite think of any tragedies.. so let's just say I haven't had any.

Chocolate-Zucchini Cupcakes
I loved these cupcakes! The rest of my family does too! Like other people, I added 1 tsp vanilla. Will definitly be making these again to help use up all the zucchini I get! These cupcakes definitly need the icing... my mom and I tried them before I put on the icing to see if they really needed it... which they did.
