Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers
This was a very delicious recipe that was much better than I expected due to my previous encounters with veggie burgers. I had to make a few changes due to lack of ingredients and advice from other reviews. To prevent the burger from being too wet, I dried the beans after rinsing as well as squeezed the liquid out of the veggie mix. I was low on breadcrumbs, so I threw in 1/3 cup brown rice in addition to the 1/3 cup bread crumbs I had into the food processor. I also substituted cayenne pepper for the hot sauce. Overall this turned out excellent and the patties stayed together in the oven. I would highly recommend this to anyone!
