Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
great recipe. easy, especially since this was my 1st fruit pie. I used a whole pie crust for the top. after the 1st 15min. I lightly covered the entire top with foil. I also brushed the crust with the hot mixture and it added somthing special to the finished product. I added 1/4 teasp. of vanilla, 1 teasp. cinnamon, a dash of nutmeg. It was a bit sweet for me & I may use a little less white sugar next time. overall I give it 5 stars.
