Oh, cakes and cookies, casseroles, stews (and all kinds of stuff that doesn't dirty too many dishes)! The first time I made a lamb roast it turned out absolutely perfect - unfortunately I've never managed to get it done that well again! Oh yeah, plenty! Forgetting baking powder in a chocolate cake for a friend's birthday is just one example. And I simply can't make good quick pasta sauces, so I usually end up spicing up jarred sauces. Maybe someday...
