About this Cook
My favorite chefs are Paula Deen and my boyfriend! I am native Floridian who loves reality TV, shopping online, trying new beauty products, and I work as a teller for a local Credit Union.
My favorite things to cook
I love making anything with lots of texture. Some of my favs to cook are stuffed chicken, chili recipes, all types of pastas and making baked goods, especially breads.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I always remember growing up helping my Meme make green, Christmas tree cookies out of a press each holiday season. They always looked and tasted so perfect!
My cooking triumphs
I am a master of baking!!! Especially homemade white bread, which I recently made my first attempt at! My very first loaf came out perfect...and I felt so proud. Now I enjoy putting in lots of effort into making fabulous yeast breads without a breadmaker!!!
My cooking tragedies
Before I joined this website I knew how to cook NOTHING....I tried cooking some pork chops with all kinds of mismatched stuff, including HONEY!!! Which of course burned in the pan and when he got home he said "eww what is that burnt smell!" Needless to say, we did not eat it and I was sad from ruining my first attempt at making a surprise dinner all by myself for my boyfriend!!! To this day he still makes fun of me for trying to sautee honey!!! LOL.

Mom's Stovetop Pork Ribs
I LOVED this!!! Great flavors and this cooking method really kept my ribs very moist and tender! The only thing I had to change was that I did have to drain some of the liquid myself from time to time, or I would have had to cook it forever. Thanks very much for a great recipe!

Catfish Cakes
Great recipe! I really enjoyed this. After reading many reviews, the only change I made to the original recipe is I baked the fish instead of boiling it for 20-25 mins at 450 degrees. I topped the cakes with dots of cocktail sauce as shown in my photo! Thank you for sharing this with everyone!
