Baked Parmesan Perch

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2008
My local supermarket doesnt sell tilipia anymore so I decided to try perch. To my surprise I liked Perch better taste alot like tilpia but doesnt get mushy. This is a good start to my perch eating adventures and since there are only 3 perch recipes Ill have to do recipes that call for tilpia but use perch. This was light and simple and will probally make again but doctor it up.

This was Slammin! Really simplicity at its best! Only change I made was to add garlic with the onion and frozen peas while cooking. This recipe really makes perfect rice. Im sure Im gonna be having this again and again. Thanks so much:)

I like this very tasty and hits the spot. My changes are did not add salt, added a can of cream of mushroom, added mushrooms, garlic powder, minced onion and only a cup of milk. Next time I wont add as much worchire and maybe throw some peas in there. Very good and easy.:)

This wasnt all that bad..but not that great either. I thought this was bland even tho I did add worch as others have suggested. If I make again I would try maybe a packet of gravy also. I probally wont even bother for all the work put into it I was excepting more. :/

Ive been meaning to try this for a while but thought it sounded weird. I thought it was pretty good. Next time I would cook it alittle longer and put something else with it like ketchup, hot sauce or even mustard.

Marinade for Steak I

I used Ny strip steak with this marinade. I thought it was good but seemed like too much oil and marinade all together. Maybe its better with a different steak. I dunno Ill try others. May use again.

After-Thanksgiving Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2008
Delicious!! Ive made this for a few years now and this is the first time I didnt add Half&Half(I never added flour) and I like it even better. I also add diced garlic, corn, some basil and parsley. I leave out the celery inless I already have it. I like to use pasta but have had it with rice. Also I would say eat this the day you make it. The rice or pasta gets mushy.

Easy Slow Cooker Meatballs

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
I skipped the tomatoes and the puree and just used a large can of hunts meat flavored sauce. I also Added some parmesan, hot sauce and basil in the meatballs and the sauce. My meatballs didnt fall apart at all and werent greasy. These were the best meatballs Ive ever had!! I put them on a bun with some mozzarella but I liked them better just plain. I took the top off the slow cooker for about 15mins and it thicken the sauce up and took to the meatballs. Alot of people said the sauce was bland... she said JAR spagetti sauce soo that basically your own fault for getting sauce you didnt like. I loved this recipe and will use it often! thx!

Hawaiian Hot Dog Surprise

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2008
Yes I was surprised!! I threw in 3 cans of pork and beans 11oz. campbells, large can of pineapples w/ juice, 8 pack of hotdogs, sauted a small onion and few dabs of hot sauce. I added NO SUGAR. Put in slow coooker on low for 3 hours. I did not stir it and the hotdogs had a nice little brown on them. The pineapples really make this different and I think next time ill wait a half in hour before done to throw them in. This is a cheap and easy meal. I had everything on hand and wasnt expecting to much but this came out good. I think next time I wont even cut the hotdogs and have it on a bun! Yum! thank you:)

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
For me the cooking time was way off. Only took 3 hours total or It would have probally been dry. I put the seasoning in, chicken, butter and 1/2 cup broth. I wasnt gonna put the broth in but the butter and seasoning were sticking to the crockpot. Cooked for 2 hours than put the soup in and cream cheese. Next time ill use only half of the cream cheese. This smelled great!! This was an above average meal (3.5) but I felt like this was strong for my taste and does need something to thin out the flavor. If I do make again I think brocolli would go perfect! Thanks.

Chicken Piccata II

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2008
After reading the reviews and seeing how everyone was saying this came out soggy I changed it. First thing I did was double batter and flour it. Fried it in some oil for 2 mins on each side. Than turned the oven on @400 for 15 mins. While chicken was cooking I did the sauce doubled it, used chicken broth instead and added some parsley, basil, s+p and like a tablespoon of sugar. Added some flour to thicken. Than poured the sauce ontop when chicken came out. This is really a excellent chicken. A great change from the norm. Will def make again. Thanks

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2008
You def have to get your fav bbq sauce for this bec Its pretty much all the flavor. Unfortunaly I just dug out what I could find out of the fridge. So I had to add some steak sauce to not make it soo sweet. I also would not add sugar next time. I did add some hot sauce like I alway do to everything. I had this with mashed potatoes and corn but I think I would of liked it better on a bun with some horsratish. I cooked it for 3 hours on high, shredded it and 1 hour on low. I was so worried it would turn out dry but it wasnt at all. This would be a great for a outdoor bbq guess Ill have to wait till next summer:( Thanks for recipe.

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
I thought this was good. I added some banana peppers, used only 1 teaspoon sugar, hot sauce and some unsweet barbaque sauce. I didnt want to change it that much but alot of reviewer said It was too sweet and I cant stand sweet meals. While it was still alittle sweet the bbq gave it that extra push it needed.(had with tator tots) Id probally make this again. Like once every 3 months meal.
