Molly's Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2009
Never had drumsticks in the slow-cooker. It turned out great! Fall of the bone. It was done in 4 hr.s on low. I dreged in flour and added an onion but besides that didnt change anything. I think it needed more sugar and maybe some worch but still good.

This is one of the better meatloafs Ive made. Great Idea to use stuffing mix. I did make a few changes. I used chicken broth in place of the water, added 2 tbls worch, onions, green pepper, garlic and a few splashes of milk. This was very easy to make and it was pretty good so I'll probally make this one again.:)

Cola Pot Roast I

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2009
This wasnt for me. I was hoping for one of the flavors to come threw. I liked this better with spagetti and parm cheese than on top of mashed potatoes, had it both ways. It wasnt bad but I could think of better ways to use up my chuck roast. Try it you might like it.

Kielbasa and Kidney Beans

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2009
I changed this up alittle bit. first off the sauce I used less sugar and added mustard. I used kielbasa lite, black beans, garlic and corn which is a must. Had this over rice and will triple the sauce next time and add a diced tomato. Thank for sharing.

Ultimate Shrimp Scampi

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
This was pretty good! I think the avocado and shrimp went together really well. I made with sticky rice instead of pasta bcuz I had with veg dumplings. Next time I will use less lemon and mince onion up more or use dry onion flakes.

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2009
I did use chuck roast, beef broth, omitted salts and doubled the Italian dressing mix. Had in slow cooker for 9 hours shredded it. As it was soaking up the juices I sauteed onions, mushrooms and peppers. Slapped it on a bun with some mozzarella cheese and put in the oven for a few mins to toast the bun. Let me tell u this was Outstanding!! For me this is one of those recipes that are above the best! Now I envy people in Chicago. hehehe

Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2009
I didnt like this. My chicken came out really dry and I didnt think the shrimp belonged at all. Maybe it's just my slow-cooker but everything came out mushy. Sorry not one I'm going to make again.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2009
This was soo great and easy! It really doesnt matter how long u put the pork in for your just going to shred it anyways. I used a pork loin roast and put on low for 6hrs. Than took it out saved the broth, threw meat back in with like 1/2 cup of broth and it soaked it right up. Added some spices. Than barbaque sauce and put on warm for a few hours. Didnt have the greatest sauce so I had to throw other ingre. in to livin it up but its not the recipes fault. Put on some buns with some horseradish. Just excellent!! Ive never liked pulled pork but now I do!:)

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2009
I did this as is except added a dry onion packet. Near the end I tasted it and it needed some extra flavor. I added some steak sauce, more worch, basil, hot sauce, mustard, garlic salt and some peas. Also used a beef chuck roast and cut it up. This will be the only type of meat I use for this stew. It was so very tender and the stew was thick, which I love. Also only took 7-8 hours on low. Im still giving this 5 stars bec this is the only beef stew I will use from now on. Thanks so much.

This was fair. I know it depends alot of your sauce however I dont think the most flavorful sauce would make this excellent. I might make again bec of how easy it is but add onions, garlic and maybe peppers.
