Have lived in Central and South America for 7 years My wife makes traditional southern turkey dinner, with cornbread dressing, many vegetables, sweet potato casserole (substitute sweet carrots in this recipe while in Ecuador), and homemade cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving. She does this whether we are living in the USA or in South America. It is a great reminder of home even while were living abroad. We also like many different recipes that are made with shrimp. We lived in Savannah GA when I was a kid and my mother could cook shrimp in many different ways. My wife and I enjoy eating shrimp in various recipes as well. We are always looking for new ways to prepare and eat shrimp.
