This is the BEST I've ever tasted. I didn't change anything the first time I made it. The 2nd time I used deli sliced cheese for the layers and I think that is the secret to it being stringy cheesey. My family loved it. And we took to a friends for dinner who just had a baby and they loved it. You can't go wrong w/ this recipe. Delicous.

I made this for mother's day b/c my sil is a vegetarian. She loved it and the rest of us loved it, including my hubby! This is the first egg salad recipe I've tried, but don't think I need to try another one. I followed the directions exactly, no changes and it was a huge hit. thanks!

I made this just as the recipe called for and it was great! My preferences would be another can of oranges and about half the coconut, but it was still really good just the way it was :o) The sour cream instead of whipped topping is the way to go and if you ask me, this recipe tastes just like your local grocery store deli's.
