About this Cook
I've been cooking since I was six; my parents would make me make the sauces for many of their dishes. Coming from a Chinese family living in the states, our dishes varied from American-style ribs to Chinese-style spare rib tips. As a kid, I would watch my parents stir-fry, steam, and slow cook countless dishes and the versatility of different flavors inspired me to take up cooking as a hobby.
My cooking triumphs
My mom is a hard woman to please when it comes to eating good food. We may go to a restaurant and the food may be awesome, but she'll just go, "Ehh...it was alright, nothing special." For the 4th of July weekend, I made shrimp marinated with a citrus coriander sauce and for once in my life, I heard my mom actually say that it was delicious. I can't get a better review than that.

Tomato Chicken Parmesan
I was initially scared that the chicken would be dried after cooking it in the skillet, but it was surprisingly tender and juicy, not to mention, very tasty. The night before, I had actually seasoned it with Italian seasoning, and pounded it for about five minutes. I find the seasoning gives the chicken more taste, and the pounding tenderizes the chicken.
