About this Cook
I've lived in many places around the U.S. and have had the opportunity to do a bit of travelling overseas. One of my favorite things to do is sample the local cuisine and experience the different tastes. I'm a cook and not a baker as I don't often measure things, I prefer to eyeball it or just put things together in an attempt to make it my own.
My favorite things to cook
I dearly love a good smoked pork shoulder that's had the right spices rubbed into it and slow cooked over wet mesquite. The pulled pork result is tender, flavorful and juicy.

Slow Cooker Barbeque
Quick and easy to start before work in the morning and nearly done when I get home. Made a great meal center piece for a quick get together with some friends.

Great-Aunt Nina's Noodles and Chicken
I made this thinking it was going to be similar to the my traditional beef and noodles that I enjoyed as a child. It turned out to be more like a soup than Chicken and Noodles. It was very good but not what I anticpated. I'll be reducing the fluids next time or cutting the onion a bit differently.
