I've lived in many places around the U.S. and have had the opportunity to do a bit of travelling overseas. One of my favorite things to do is sample the local cuisine and experience the different tastes. I'm a cook and not a baker as I don't often measure things, I prefer to eyeball it or just put things together in an attempt to make it my own. I dearly love a good smoked pork shoulder that's had the right spices rubbed into it and slow cooked over wet mesquite. The pulled pork result is tender, flavorful and juicy.
