Sour Cream Coffee Cake III

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2008
Very moist, buttery and chewey edges. This is very sweet so I will probably cut out some sugar next time. I made the recipe exactly as stated and found there was enough crumb topping for my taste. The only problem I had was that it took at least 50 minutes in a 350 oven using a 9x13 pan as suggested. I kept checking it and the middle just would not cook. I've never had that happen before so I just kept an eye on it and hoped for the best. I'll definitely make this again.

Butter Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2008
I love this pie crust recipe. Best one I've ever made. I did add 1 tsp of vanilla to the ice cold water and I added 2tbsp of sugar to the flour mixture. Buttery, flaky and delicious. You won't be disappointed.

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2008
Good, easy recipe to follow. I didn't have any blueberries on hand so I added shredded apple to the mix. I have a habit of making recipe's without reading them through first...so I didn't realize how much batter this was going to make until I was actually mixing it altogether. I ended up pouring it all into a bundt pan and it came out great. I also forgot to add the vanilla...and I'm a freak about vanilla but it came out okay. I don't usually mess around with recipe's on the first go around but this one is so easy you can do what you want with it and it will still come out great!

Cheddar Biscuit Cups

Reviewed: May 12, 2008
I just made this recipe and I think it is terrific. Very simple to follow and quick from bowl to table. I used all purpose flour and followed directions for quick rise flour. I doubled the recipe and used a 12 muffin tin. I think this would be great in a mini muffin tin and used as an appetizer with dipping sauces. Very versatile recipe. I love the idea of being able to add anything I want to this.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2007
I just made this recipe yesterday, refridgerated overnight and rolled out this afternoon. I had no problems rolling this dough out at all. A very tastey cookie but I did add a bit more vanilla as I do to every single recipe I make. I'll use this recipe over and over again.

Chocolate Mousse I

I really like this simple recipe. I think you can flavor it up any way you'd like to suit your taste. I only had semi-sweet chocolate in the house and it worked just fine.

An incredibly easy recipe to follow and such delicious results! My brother did not believe that I made it myself! Everyone has gobbled this up in the past and it will be on my holiday baking list every year.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2006
I just finished making this recipe and it is terrific. Very flavorful and chewey. I also substituted 1/2 cup of brown sugar. I think is the fastest easiest chocolate chip cookie recipe I've ever done. I used parchment paper and didn't burn a single cookie bottom.

Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2006
This recipe was great! I really enjoyed making my first batch of gingerbread men with my 2 year old daughter. I used parchment paper instead of greasing the pan and didn't burn a single cookie! I will use this simple recipe year after year.
