simple and easy to make. If you do not like messing with dough, this is not for you, I Read some of the reviews and was sort of worried that it wouldn't turn out right, but it was fine, no running, not messy (at least not any more than any other rolled cookie would be) and has a great chocolate taste. Deffenatly an A+ on my gift giving list.

I am on my second batch, it is just great. I put it into the crock pot just about an hour before going to work, turn it down to low and let it cook. After supper I process it. Greatest and simple recipe. I went with other reviews, increased the apples, decreased the sugar, kept the cinnamon the same way because we love the taste of cinnamon.

I have been looking all over for this recipe, a senior citizen gave it to me years ago and I lost it while traveling all over the place. Thanks for posting this one.
