Newport Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2009
New England maybe... Newport, no... Guessing I expect a Newport clam chowder to be much more thin... had to edit recipe exponentially to get near a true Newport chowder. 3 stars because its still a good chowder, just not as titled.

Fresh Spring Rolls With Thai Dipping Sauce

Pat the wraps till damp before rolling, add sweet chili sauce, or peanut sauce to liven up. Cilantro was an outstanding suggestion!

Grecian Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2009
I was really suprised at this recipe... i toned down the lime juice a little (1 cup) then seared on grill finished with indirect heat. Very nice, juicy tenderloin... as with any tenderloin be sure to let rest before carving.

KELLOGG'S* RICE KRISPIES* Tangy Holiday Meatballs

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2008
Ok... would have been 5 stars but I changed it substantially. I have made this twice now for football sundays this way and I am truely suprised at what a hit it is. first of all I double the sauce leave all ingredients the same, couple shakes of tobassco is good, I sometimes add water if the sauce seems too thick while the meatballs simmer. For the meatballs I use a cup of bread crumbs, not rice crispies. I double the meat (2 lbs) and 2 eggs. everything else is the same. Thats it, sound wierd, but tastes great!
