Gooey Butter Cookies

They fall apart, gooey mess - not a cookie at all - either you cook them till they are crispy burnt or they are a gooey gloop floop....my kids didn't even eat to the bottom of the cookie jar and they will eat anything sweet. I did it because of the high ratings...I won't be trying this again - I guess call me a 30 something old fashioned Betty Crocker!

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

This was very good - I used smoked pheasant instead of chicken which was wonderful. I also added carrots. Good the first day - awesome the next so the flavors all melt together. Thanks!

Mock Lobster

You have GOT to try this!!! The chicken is excellant - it sounds weird to did it into butter but wow is it good! I will be making this several times. I did marinate for 24 hours so the flavor really carried all the way through. This is a don't miss! I am not getting into if it tastes like lobster - who cares - it tastes great and that is all my family cares about! Thanks for sharing!

David's Mesquite Smoked Texas Brisket

Two hours in a smoker does not give enough smoke flavor - I followed the recipe but I still don't understand that if you have a smoker why finish in the oven? This may be a brisket but not a "smoked" brisket...

The flavor was great - I used triscuits to top as recommended by someone else and the crust was great! However the left overs were super dry even with the added milk. I re-heated with some cottage cheese and that worked well. Thanks for sharing!
