I made this for for my husbands Birthday cake (I used David's yellow cake recipe from All Recipes). It was such a Hit!!! EVERYONE loved the combination. I doubled the recipe to put it between the layers of cake. THANKS for such a WONDERFUL recipe.

I wanted to make my husband a cake from scratch for his Birthday. I have been out of practice baking, but I followed this recipe & it was WONDERFUL! I use a chocolate frosting recipe with it...It turned out soooooooo goooooood...Thanks David!

I made this recipe last weekend. I followed the directions, but pre-cooked the bacon only because I like it well done. I put the bacon (crumbled) inside with the cream cheese. When I asked my husband if he would like it again he said "Yes & Soon!" We both really enjoyed it! It is rich tasting like someone said, but you know that when you select this recipe. DELICIOUS!!! YUMMY!!!
