Strawberry Lemon Shortcake
The lemon zest really set off this shortcake. I didn't bother with the lemon butter, though I'm sure it would have been yummy. I did add vanilla to my whipping cream and strawberries - and also added just a touch of balsamic vinegar to my strawberries. It was incredible!

Chocolate Lovers' Favorite Cake
Wonderfully moist. We served it with whipped cream, but found it too sweet. It was better with the unsweetened cream just poured over the cake.

Oatmeal and Wheat Flour Blueberry Pancakes
Wonderful! I used half buckwheat/half wholewheat flour. I also used traditional oats, as opposed to the quick. I've made them with both canola oil and olive oil, but prefer the canola as the olive can be overpowering. My two-year old loves them and I feel better about feeding him a healthier version.
