Creamy Parsnip With Ginger Soup
If I could give this soup a million stars, I would! So delicious, my first experience with parsnips. Who knew they were so good? The only change I made was using all allspice instead of allspice and cardamom, and using dark brown sugar instead of regular. thanks for great soup recipe for my work lunches!

Almond, Apple Cinnamon Scones
I followed this recipe to the "T" -- it was okay, but I won't make it again. In my opinion, it didn't show off the apples to their best. If you do make it, these scones are best eaten warm -- you'll find their flavor greatly improved by a few seconds in the microwave.
