Honey-Poppy Seed Cornish Hens
This sauce is delicious. The hens turned out great. Had to use bottled dijon because I thought I had powdered mustard on hand, but didn't. Will be putting this sauce on my spiral sliced Christmas ham.

Plain and Simple Sourdough Bread
I was a little anxious about this as I was oven baking it and not using a bread machine. Right after I dumped the yeast in I wondered if I should have proofed it first as I normally do, but it was too late, so I just hoped for the best. And I got it. Fantastic. This recipe is going to Christmas Dinner.

Eggnog Quick Bread
I was actually looking for a recipe to use up 2 reeeeally ripe bananas, and some eggnog in a carton. After reading the dryness issues, I used brown sugar and the bananas and otherwise stuck to the recipe. Sprayed a bundt pan with Pam and sprinkled cinnamon sugar on it and it turned out just fine!! I also added spices, because I can't stop myself from it....cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and ginger.
