I moved to Utah from California in Dec. of 2005 and absolutely love it. I am working part time while going to school (nursing) full time. When I do have extra time I love to cook or bake. My husband is usually my guinea pig! Anything. I used to spend my summers with my mom and her family in New York and we would always get together to make family recipes and play cards. There was lots of laughter. I miss those summers. I am known for my apple pie, peanut butter pie and chili. I made dinner for a family that had just had a baby and the rice in the dish wouldn't cook so I had to take the casserole and put it into a different dish so it would fit in my microwave so the rice would cook in time for me to take it to them. I felt horrible because I am a perfectionist.
