Mushroom Blue Cheese Turkey Burgers
This recipe was ok. It needs some work. I followed it to the "T" and the burgers fell apart on the grill, even though I mixed them well and oiled the grate before I put them on it. Second, the blue cheese overwhelms any flavor in the burgers - too much blue cheese. We ended up putting a lot of mustard on the bun to mask some of the blue cheese flavor. And that's saying something, since I LOVE blue cheese!

Black Bean Chili
I made this for my family and they LOVED it. My dad, who is a big meat-eater, raved about it - and he knew there wasn't any meat in it. It's a bit thick, so I messed with the recipe a bit - added two cups of chicken broth to thin it a bit. I also added some salt. When serving, I provided sour cream and 2% milkfat cheddar to top it, with some cornbread muffins on the side. Will probably add one more can of black beans next time I make this. I received rave reviews!

Mulligatawny Soup I
This soup is amazing! For awhile I've been searching for a great, Indian-inspired soup, and now I've found it. Dee-lish. I doubled the amount of curry that the recipe called for, added at least one extra cup of chicken broth, used only half the butter called for, and substituted half and half for the cream, and it was definitely rich enough - can't imagine it with full butter amount and cream. This recipe is great!
