Seattle Dutch Babies

These turned out ok for my very first try. It definitely took longer to bake (about twice as long)and they were thicker than I had wanted them to be. I used a standard sized stoneware pie dish, so I will use a larger dish next time. I also added a little vanilla, as well as sliced apples with cinnamon and sugar. Very tasty! Will try it again.

Spicy Sausage and Rice Casserole

This turned out great! Everyone loved it. Basically followed the directions given, used a bit less sausage and a pinch of crushed red pepper in place of the cayenne pepper. It cooked in the oven a little less than an hour. I covered the top with a can of French fried onions. Delish!

Pasta with Kielbasa and Sauerkraut

As strange as the varied ingredients may sound, it was a pretty good tasting dish. The olive oil makes the pasta "just right" and not too dry. We liked it well enough to probably make it again in the future.

Slow Cooker Tapioca Pudding

Like others, I found that the real key is in mixing the eggs with the milk before adding to the crockpot AND stirring several times throughout the cooking process. Vanilla definitely adds to the flavor too. Amazingly simple and amazingly good!

Pasghetti Pizza

We thought this was great! We added a bit more cheese, added some Pepperjack which added a bit more spice. I left the temp at 400 for the final 10 minutes which I think was a good idea. It made the topping a little more crusty too.

Banana Cream Supreme

Mmmm..mmmm good! Son in law won't let me come to potlucks with out this pie now. I used banana pudding instead of vanilla which I think gave it a little more pizazz...and I topped the pie with a layer of Cool Whip. Got rave reviews from all!
