I tried this once with regular white bread and it turned out a little soggy but still tasty. I then tried it with the french bread and just dipped the pieces in the egg mixture without letting it soak. I got great reviews as I was cooking it for a large group of jr. highers from church. Overall it is simple to make and tastes GREAT!

My whole family loved it! We served this up with some seasoned fries and ketchup and that's it. I'm thinking it could be fun to serve at a kids party.
