Easy recipe and great taste. I added about 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans and placed about 1/2 cup pecan halves around outer edge of pie and center for decoration. I'm glad I did. It would have looked a bit unappetizing. Followed suggestions from other reviewers and baked 10min at 400 and then 50min at 300. I was scared it was over baked but it turned out very nice.

Didn't use nutmeg. Was quite sweet. Will try with fresh/frozen cherries next time.
