I am a 30 year old RN who lives on the Eastern Shore of Virginia I have been married for 3 years to the love of my life. I have 2 older sisters and a identical twin. I don't have any children but I do have a dog named Buddy and a beta fish. I have 7 neices and nephews and 1 great neice. I just lost my mom on August 1, 2008 to uterine cance which was devasting to my family. I still have my dad and we are all trying to live each day to the fullest. I think of my mom a lot especially when I cook because she was such a good cook and I didnt get a chance to learn some of her best recipes before she passed away. So that's one of the reasons i love this website. It has every imaginable recipe out there and the reviews are great:) Well I do like to try new things but working full time I have a lot of old stand byes but I LOVE to bake my family calls me betty crocker because I always want to bring a cake whenever we get together:) as a child I remember my mom and dad cooking together in the kitchen one would make the entree and the other would make the side dish. but as i have grown we do a lot of pot lucks which is great because we all get to try out everyones recipes right now its' my pumpkin cheesecake from scratch when i made it thanksgiving last year I dropped it on the floor and I was determined this thanksgiving to make it again and I did and it turned out wonderful see above :)
