I grew up eating tradtional southern food (everything fried and covered in gravy). While those foods are delicious, I'm trying to eat healthier these days by eating less meat and more vegetarian dishes. Anything new and different. I once made an eight layer cake decorated like a Christmas package for a party. It was so beautiful - it looked like it came from an expensive bakery. Unfortunately, it was so pretty noone wanted to cut it, so all my efforts were wasted.
