i love baking, its one of my favourite hobbies. :) i bake because i love to see people happy when they eat the stuff i make. i may not like the item i bake, but so long others love it, i'm happy. cookies! followed by bread, pastries, candy. none. :P maybe stir-frying? i'm chinese after all.. my very first cheesecake was splendid. a tiny crack in the middle, which gave it a home-made charm. tasted wonderful. unfortunately, the recipe wasn't from here. it was a dulche de leche cheesecake i found on google. quite a few of the recipes i tried out on the first time were tradgedies, but it can't really be helped cause most of the recipes here are from people living at temperate areas, while i live at the equator. so sometimes the dough warms too quickly, sometimes the cookies get soft too quickly (the humidity is very high here) and so on. but i learn and adapt. :)
