I'm 27-year-old web designer with a passion for cooking! I love getting cookbooks and viewing recipes to try new dishes, and even add a little twist to the ingredients to make a meal more unique. I love making sushi! Ever since I got hooked on it several years ago, I decided to try and make it myself. I didn't think it would be so easy - although I only stick with the California and Tuna Rolls for now. :P I also love making different types of pasta. So far seafood pasta with alfredo sauce is my fav. I have a baking bug too. Albiet, I have yet to try making a loaf of bread from scratch! I like making cakes and cookies though. Sunday dinners were always a big thing in my family. Add Caribbean food into the mix and that adds up to a lot of cooking! Rice & peas, jerk chicken. Sunday breakfast was traditional too: Ackee & saltfish with dumplings were always delicious. Made a delicious flan from scratch on my first try. Putting too much brown sugar/honey onto some pork ribs and leaving the oven on too long that they caramelized into burnt toffee... :(
