My boyfriend wanted a yellow cake with chocolate frosting so I had to find the perfect recipe! I am very pleased with this recipe and will use it from now on when I need a yellow cake! I scaled the recipe to 4 servings and baked it in a small cake pan. It was perfect for 2 people to have a couple of servings !

French Baguettes

I LOVE this recipe! I added some crushed rosemary to mine. I also added melted butter to the egg wash instead of water. To those that are hand kneading the bread just use a little olive oil on your hands instead of adding more flour. And please for the love of bread use BREAD FLOUR lol! A++ recipe !

Easy Decadent Truffles

ZOMG ! How on earth have I gone my entire life without making these until now LOL!?! The possibilities of this recipe are endless! I added Boca Java Chocolate Hazelnut Heaven coffee to flavor mine. I rolled some in powdered sugar, some in cocoa and the rest I dipped in melted chocolate. I used Ghirardelli 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate. I plan to experiment further next time. I will let ya know what I come up with!

Pie Crust IV

This is a GREAT basic pie crust recipe. My secret is to put all of the ingredients in the freezer a few minutes before making the crust as well as treating it lightly. The real trick to a flaky crust is not letting the fat mix completely into the flour mixture.

Egg Noodles

I LOVE this recipe! Soo easy and tasty! I made heart shaped noodles by request of my boyfriend. I used them to make chicken and hearts soup ! :) <3

Tortellini Soup I

I used turkey sausage and water instead of beef broth as my boyfriend does not eat beef or pork. I added red beans instead of zucchini because I just don't like it. ;p I threw it all in the crockpot ! I served it with garlic bread and sparkling red grape juice. with blueberry crepes as dessert.

Ice Cream Cone Treats

My mother made these for my slumber party birthday once when I was a little girl. She set an undecorated cupcake cone in front of each girl with several bowls of various frostings and candies in the middle of the table so we could each decorate our own! It was a yummy treat as well as a fun party activity!

Colleen's Potato Crescent Rolls

I loved this recipe! I didn't shape it into crescents though. I skipped the fridge all together and let them rise in a muffin pan. I also added a little garlic and onion powder to it. I think next time I will doctor up the mashed potatoes with the garlic and onion powder and maybe even add some cheese to it. My boyfriend LOVES these and says this should be our rolls from now on!

I loved this recipe! I did make one change though which is why I only gave it 4 stars. I added a 1/4 tsp of almond extract and 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract.

Spiced Tea Mix

Just like my Mom used to make for me when I was little ! I always love to have of cup when I have a cold. I was very happy to find this today ! I mixed it with lemon theraflu! :O It was wonderful !

Crazy Chocolate Cake

I love this recipe ! I added 1 cup of cocoa as others have said and some choocolate chips hehehe. I also used milk instead of water with a 1/2 tsp of instant coffee mixed into it. I baked it jelly roll style and used chocolate butter cream filling and topped with chocolate ganache for the most evil chocolate desert ever FTW! :D

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

This is my favorite recipe for pizza crust. I do alter alot though. I add garlic and rosemary in with the oil and use 2 cups of wheat flour and only 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour.
