My name is Jen. I'm recently married and attempting to learn to cook. We both lived in houses wehre most nights were basically a fix your own dinner and we want to try to cook every night. I'm not much of a cook yet, but I'm trying! I absolutely love to bake. I'm pretty good at it too. I get a lot of requests for my cakes and cookies! Other than that... I make a mean grilled cheese. Thanksgiving dinner. My grandma makes these amazing noodles. She chases us all out of the kitchen or we'll eat them before she sets them out. And my other grandma taught me to nake when I was small. The first time I made dinner at our new house. it wasn't much, just some pasta and chicken and a pie, but it was so exciting to me because it turned out perfect, and most importantly, I didn't burn the house down! Setting the kitchen on fire so many times that the fire dept. knew me by name.
