The Best Banana Bread
Hands down THE BEST banana bread I have ever made OR tasted! I made a few alterations based on other reviews. I used 1/2 white sugar, 1/2 dark brown sugar. Real unsalted butter instead of margarine. Added a tsp of vanilla extract and a tsp of cinnamon. In a skillet I melted some butter and toasted some pecans with a little brown sugar. I let those cool and then added them to the top of the loaf before cooking. AMAZING!!! The banana taste is the main focus in this recipe and the bread comes out VERY moist!! I am purposely going to neglect my bananas now just so I have an excuse to make this bread every week!
