About this Cook
I'm a creative services assistant who can't live without Photoshop, MAC Makeup, Prince, Coffee, and Cumin! Shopping is my hobby Daschunds are my favorite! I've been cooking for about 4 years and my "moves" in the kitchen get better everyday!
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things in the world to cook are side dishes/appetizers for family holidays and get-togethers, what can say, I LOVE COOKING FOR OTHER PEOPLE! I also enjoy making main dishes and SOME desserts.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every year during the holidays my sister, mom, and I will get together to bake cookies, cinnamon rolls, and chocolate covered pretzles! My favorite thing to eat/make however is my grandma's FAMOUS apple cake. The recipe has been in our family for over 100 years.
My cooking triumphs
I LOVE to make Super Easy Chicken Chili. I also conquered the World's Best Lasagna, blueberry muffins, cajun seafood pasta, and brown sugar meatloaf. I've also learned how to sautee spinach (so easy) and make some mean oatmeal cookies!!!
My cooking tragedies
I tried to make a pumpkin cheesecake without all the ingredients and to top it off I made it in a pie pan. Needless to say it was a disaster.

Brown Sugar Smokies
Every year these are served at Thanksgiving and Christmas and I am lucky if I get two because they go so fast.

Seven Layer Taco Dip
Yum Yum Yum. Served this at a party and it was gone in 2 seconds. Wouldn't change a thing to it.
