My favorite things to cook is various. I love southern country food so I lean towards that more. I like to cook just for the thrill of watching people enjoy the food.

Family cooking traditions is a feast to celebrate life and family Our cooking traditions are usually of the african american palette in the south although my husband has a little different tradition of cooking for family and multitudes of people.
My cooking triumphs
Recently I made a meal of pinto beans and rice with stewed tomatoes along with meatloaf. I was worried that I would not be able to recreate the taste that I remebered as a little girl when my mother made it for me. My meal was a major triumph because it came out as good as I remeber mom used to make. This Nov. will be a year since my mother past.
My cooking tragedies
Haven't had many of those even though I am sure there are some. I am usually pretty good at picking out the flavors for my family.
