Whipped Cream

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2009
Very good recipe! I bought strawberries & the shortcake shells but forgot the whipped cream. I'm glad I found this, I can't belive how simple but tasty it turned out! I don't think I'll ever buy whipped cream again! I did use 3 TBS like other reviewers suggested.

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
This is a really great recipe! I have been making homemade sloppy joes for years since my husbands grandmother showed me how easy it is to make. I vowed to never buy Manwich again. I was looking for any different recipes & I'm so glad I found this one! I doubled the recipe since there are alot of us eating. The only thing differnt that I did was that I used ground venison since that is what we have. I never have to buy ground beef. This time our ground meat had bacon gound up in it so it gave it an even better flavor! You can't go wrong with this recipe! I think next time I will even quadruple this recipe so we can have leftovers!

Breaded Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
This was a really good recipe! I was going to bake these in the oven but my oldest asked me to fry these instead. So I did but saved some to make the next day for lunch & then I would bake them so I could see which way was better. Well, to me frying was soo much better. Maybe I should have double dipped them in the batter but I just dipped in the batter & then the flour mixture & when I took them out of the oven, they were still covered in flour. It was gross. Marinating really long didn't make a difference either. But, overall, I will deffinatly be making these again. Very yummy!

Honey Mustard Dressing II

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
I LOVE this recipe! It tastes just like the stuff you buy but its even better since its homemade. I have always tried to make honey mustard in the past but all I ever did was mix the two together & got gross results. I am soooo glad that I found this recipe. The kids were wanting to eat this with a spoon they liked it so much! Thanks!

French Dip Sandwiches

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2008
Wow! This is an excellent recipe! I used a venison roast because that's what we had & used beef broth instead of the cube. I found out that after I shredded it, I put it in a seperate pot along with the au jus so they can cook together, I went to get it after about 30 once we were done eating to put it away, all the au jus was soaked in the meat. It was soooo much better. I think that is what I'm going to do form now on.

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2008
This recipe better than the local pizza joint's buffalo pizza!!!. I make the crust(Jay's Signature from this site) and get a rotissere chicken & shred it. Then I use Ken's Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing & Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Chicken Sauce and use a mixture of mozzarella and cheddar cheese's. Excellent Pizza!!!!!!!

Mall Pretzels

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2007
WOW-these pretzels were awesome!! I did make a couple of changes--I proofed the yeast/brown sugar for 10 min. and used whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose flour but still came out great. I loved the flavor and texture. They really do taste like Auntie Anne's from the mall! I can't wait to try different variations on these like cinn./sugar, toasted almond, garlic parmesean, ect. To keep the coarse salt from falling off brush the pretzels w/ melted butter and then sprinkle the salt on before baking and then when they are out of the oven I brushed a little bit more melted butter just for the flavor and were terrfic!! My whole house smell sooo good!!!

Exquisite Pizza Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2007
Really great pizza sauce. I made this with Jay's signature pizza crust and they went really well together. I halved the honey and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. I also doubled the recipe because the pizza crust recipe makes enough for 2 pizza's so I wanted enough. Well, doubling the sauce gave me enough to make 2 large pizza's, and 2 large stomboli's the next night w/ a small amount of sauce still left over.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2007
Well, this is by far the best pizza crust I've ever made. I won't be using any other recipe. I made it last Friday and it turned out great. My son now wants every Friday to be pizza night and to use this recipe. It's so easy that I don't think I'll ever buy ready-made pizza's again. I made this with Exquisite Pizza Sauce from this site and went really well w/ it.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2007
Oh my god---this cheesecake was AWESOME!!!!! I followed it to a T and it turnes out perfectly. The hardest part was waiting the 3 hours for it to come out of the fridge, but it was well worth the wait. Even my 9 y.o. son who isn't keen on either pumpkin pie or cheesecake absolutly loved it and couldn't get enough of it. I'm definitly making this for Thanksgiving.

Denise's Peanut Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2006
Very Good!! Even my very picky 8 y.o. son liked it! The preperation took a little longer than I had expected, but was worth it. I made a few changes though-- I added sliced carrots, broccoli, and water chestnuts along w/ the red bell pepper. I also added a little bit of peanut butter to the sauce. All in all-- a very good recipe.

Tropical Sweet Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2006
The texture of the bread was good--very moist. It did'nt have much flavor as had expected considering the fact that it has banana, pinapple, coconut & macadamia nuts in it. Don't get me wrong--it wasn't awful-just not a flavorful. Maybe next time I will add a little bit more sugar and more coconut.
